Restorative Justice Services

I work in the field of dialogue - I help people resolves conflicts and repair harm through talking. Sometimes it's hard to talk to somebody, particularly if you're angry or upset, or if I feel like they've harmed me or I've harmed them.  It can be helpful to have somebody as a mediator to help people have those difficult conversations.  However those difficult conversations are worthwhile as they give hope.  People can start to see how it is in their interest to enter into dialogue with another party.  I help people identify what's really important to them, or what they need. After a crime people often need to be recognised, heard and understood. People have a need to feel better about themselves, to feel safe, and security. To step forward and take accountability and responsibility for causing harm or conflict.

My role is the mediator.

I train people to do mediation, circle process and conferencing.

Program Development

I do juvenile probation parole office develop their family circle process, helped Aldo Leopold High School and Guadelupe Montessorri School implement restorative practices in their schools.
